Visakhapatnam

It is a port city and industrial center in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh, on the Bay of Bengal. The Visakhapatnam Chapter of Sanjeevani began in September 2020  in collaboration with the Homibhaba Cancer Hospital and Research Centre.

The Team has helped over 9813 Cancer patients from April 2022 to November 2022.

Active programs Include:

1. CanSahyogi: Handholding and counseling sessions in the hospital premises for cancer patients in need.

2. Satori: A holistic care initiative that focuses on the complete wellbeing of Cancer Patients.

3. CanChetna: A program meant to create awareness in various schools, colleges, universities, and communities of Visakhapatnam about the need to adopt a healthy lifestyle to prevent cancer and the importance of early detection of higher chances of survival
