I was fortunate enough to complete my internship at Sanjeevani - Life Beyond Cancer. As an intern, I got first-hand experience of my classroom theories in a practical sense and learnt how to efficiently apply the core ethics of social work. I wanted to work in a hospital setting and in the grass-root levels of different communities; as expected, Sanjeevani helped me in fulfilling these expectations. I spent valuable time with the members of the organisation and am grateful to them for giving me an opportunity with this internship.
